Shift Happens!

Shift Happens!, by Mike Clayton, focuses on projects, change and risk. Clayton, an author and public speaker with a background in managing business projects and integrating complex change, says he will “pick up on any topic related to these which interests me.”

Shift Happens! premiered in October 2009 under Mike’s direction. He has been around project management for 20 years, including eight training both project and change managers and facilitating management and leadership development programmes. Professionally, Mike uses his speaking platform to inform his audience about project management, change and the psychology of influence and decision making. He brings these attributes to his blogging experience as well.

“I enjoy writing and I have a point of view,” he says.  “The intended audience of Shift Happens! is primarily for newer and less experienced project and change managers who want some insights to keep them thinking.  I guess I see my blog audience as being many of the people who attend my keynotes, seminars and training.”

Mike says Shift Happens! features two highly popular posts:

He lists the aforementioned Creating Change post as one of his three favourite posts at Shift Happens!
