PM Technix

PM Technix is the newest blog we’ve added at PPM Community to date. Specifically, it came out almost exactly two weeks after this post was published. While there may be some time in need of passing before PM Technix is overflowing with content-rich PPM elements, there’s no doubt that Bruce Lofland will be the person to do it.

Bruce has been a Project Manager in IT environments throughout the Kansas City area since 1999, as well as a certified PMP since 2007. Prior to that, he spent several years working as a Software Developer. A senior figure of sorts amongst the project managers within the organisation he works for (which was not revealed), Bruce felt the logical next step to sharing PM know-how was within the friendly confines of a blog.

“I am surprised by the lack of expertise and knowledge demonstrated by even PMP certified PMs,” Bruce told us. “My posts will help with simple, but less-than-obvious, tips to make them more effective. I am a mentor to PMs in my organization and wanted to share my insights with other PMs on a wider scale. It also helps to get feedback and network.”
