Software Project Management is a blog dedicated (and the clue is in the title) to all issues related to managing software projects. There are a range of topics including but not limited to project management, software development, team building and managing a software company. Software Project Management was started by Pawel Brodzinski back in Spring 2006 as a bit of an experiement at the time; he felt he had some knowledge to share and quickly found that readers found that valuable. He also loves a good discussion and the blog is a great way to launch them.
Software Project Management is ideal for people working on software projects: project managers, line or functional managers, program managers but also engineers interested in how things work beyond their desks.
Pawel describes himself as a team builder, project fire fighter and program manager;
“My whole professional life is tightly related to building software but I was never attached to a single role. If you choose anything between junior quality engineer and C-level exec (including both of them) I probably did it.”
Pawel is also a fan of choosing the right approach to the right problem and doesn’t believe in silver bullets. He’s passionate about fixing broken projects and building great software. Apart from the Software Project Management blog you can also reach Pawel on Twitter at @pawelbrodzinski
