Project Management Bistro

Project Management Bistro, the blog PM Boulevard, is co-edited by Jennifer Girdish. PM Bistro began publishing with the hope of expanding the reach of PM Boulevard to a wider audience in project and programme management.

“PM Bistro is the blog of PM Boulevard, so that we can further the conversation within the PM community,” Jennifer says. “We blog about hot trends, discounts on events, book reviews, polls and career advice.”

Jennifer targets the blog to reach project, programme and portfolio management professionals with a minimum of one post per week, often two.  She also maintains three running feature on the blog each month, with individual columns entitled PM Rookie, PM Career Corner and BPM. And although she tries to stay in the know with social media, Jennifer remains skeptical about being a expert practitioner of the various 2.0 media available to the modern PPM professional.

“I’m a writer and a social media enthusiast. I don’t know that anyone can claim to be a social media expert just yet,” he says. “I’ve been writing about project management with PM Boulevard for over two years.”

Project Management Bistro’s most popular post focuses on Tools and Methodologies:

Jennifer lists three particular PM Bistro posts as her favourites since opening shop in October 2008:
