International Project Management Communications is a new project management blog from Francis Norman focused on communications in international projects. Created in January 2010, Francis posts a series of articles discussing the various aspects and influences on successful international project communications and obstacles to being successful in the field
Francis is a project manager and engineer with an international career and has a strong interest in communications between project teams involved in international projects, from a cultural, linguistic and interpersonal perspective.
After a 20 year career of working internationally I have seen projects where the international communications has been successfully managed and teams have worked well together, however, all too often I see projects where this is not well managed and terrible problems between the teams occur, this blog is my attempt to help others be successful.
Francis started blogging more recently due to his current studies towards a MSc in Project Management and has developed a deeper interest in the field of communications. The International Project Management Communications blog is aimed at project managers, team members and observers in international projects of all types. Francis blogs on a weekly basis.
